All you have to do is watch this video and you will ask the same question.....really?? just 3??

It all happen this morning at 9:00am while I was upstairs getting ready for church. Luke runs in the house and says "Mom, you'll never believe this....come outside and see!!" and what you see on this video is what I saw. He's trying way too hard to grow up.

Labor Day Weekend

I have a few things to "catch up" on. I just realized that I haven't shared pictures of the fair or our Labor Day trip. So this is where I will start....Labor Day.
We decided that it had been way too long since we had seen Ben's family in Prosser and Yakima. So on Friday after Ben got of work we headed south to Nana's in Prosser. We stayed there for two nights then on Sunday morning we headed to Grandma Olson's house in Yakima.
I didn't take as many pictures as I should have but I took some.

Nana has some great climbing trees!!
All of the cousins came down to hang out with us too.....it was fun to get all of the kids together.
Here's all four kids with Nana!!! I sure wish Papa was here to see those three Abshire boys!!

Now here's some from Grandma Olson's house. The boys are here playing with all the same toys that Ben and Aunt Becky played with when they were kids. They thought that was pretty cool. We also got to go swimming a couple of times while we were there. I forgot to take my camera to the pool with us so you will just have to try to picture it. It was fun!!

I will try to get the fair pictures up soon too. The boys went Mutton Bustin' for the first time. If you don't know what that is you will just have to check back to see the pictures. They should not be missed!!

Another Zac Post....

When Ben left for work this morning Zac ran out with him and said "Daddy, want to see my cartwheel?" He did it, and it was funny. Then, Ben came home for lunch and when he was leaving to go back to work, Zac ran out and said "Daddy, want to see my cartwheel?" It was the same as this morning, so I thought I better share Zac and his cartwheel (and Luke too).

Zac the Big Boy!!

Zac, my 3 year old, seems to be growing up overnight to me. It all started about a month ago when he decided he was ready to wear underwear. We are officially down to one kid is diapers, it's been almost 5 years with 2 in diapers!! I have to say that it's really nice and I know our budget will enjoy it too.

So, Zac is usually the first one up. I think he knows that if get up before his brothers and sister he gets to climb up in bed and snuggle a little with mom and dad. Can't say that we really enjoy being awoke to the little, sweet hands of our third son....POUNDING ON OUR BED!!! but he's sweet and he just has to smile at us to forget that we were just sound asleep. The last 2 mornings he's wanted to take a shower when his dad does. Of course I let him because then I don't have to give him a bath later and it a lot easier then filling up the bath tub, kneeling down to wash his hair, etc..... So that also makes him seem a little older, and then to top it all off he's enjoying dressing himself these days.

This is what he chose for today.....it's pushing 90 degrees this afternoon and it took awhile for me get him to change his shirt at least. Isn't he a handsome boy??

Jacob....the 1st Grader!!

Well it happened, I've got a first grader. I can't believe that he is old enough yet to be in school all day long but he is. He started on Thursday last week and he loved it!! So far he is still loving it and if you asked him what his favorite part was he would absolutely say RECESS!!! Here's a few pictures of my very grown up boy.

Here's Jacob and his dad...Ben just told me that he remembers like it was yesterday taking pictures with his dad like this.
Checking out his desk....Grandma came for his first day. He really enjoyed showing her his new desk.
Here's the brothers. I think Luke and Zac wish it was them but no way am I letting them go yet, I know it will be like tomorrow when they are all gone.
Here he is...my handsome boy all ready to start his school career. I've got some adjusting to do....
